The patterns for these styles were created from the average measurements for two basic body types. The pointed cinch best fits and flatters a longer waist or a straighter torso - this style is also recommended for men as it is cut lower on the sides to accommodate lower ribs. The straight-topped cinch works best with those who are curvy to begin with or those who are shorter of waist.
These presized corsets are cut from three layers of fabric, feature ½" spring steel boning and heavy-duty cotton bone casing. All corsets have grosgrain ribbon at the waist, two-piece busk closures in front and two-piece grommets on the lacing panel for strength. When ordering, you can select your size and fabric for delivery within 4 - 6 weeks.

The POINTED CINCH style is an underbust waist cincher with points at the top and bottom in front and in back. The busk closure measures 11" in length. This style does not support the bust, and it offers a standard waist reduction.
The STRAIGHT CINCH is an under bust waist cincher with a straight top and a gently curved bottom in the front. The back lacing panel has small points on the top and bottom, and the busk measures 9". This corset does not support the bust, and offers a standard waist reduction. The hip line is lower and cut fuller than the pointed cinch.
When ordering either style, you can select your size and
fabric for delivery within 4 - 8 weeks, depending on demand.

THESE CORSETS COME IN EVEN WAIST SIZES 18-28" - PLEASE SPECIFY
Our off the rack corsets are made
in standard corset sizes, usually around 3 - 4 inches smaller than your
natural waist (someone
with a 28 inch waist would usually be a corset size 24). This is a
good place to start when determining size, but you should also consider
height, torso length, and how squishy your waist is. The pointed waist
cincher was made for people with longer torsos, firmer waists and/or
less of a differential between rib-waist-hip measurements.
The straight cinch usually fits those who are shorter-waisted, more
squishy and/or curvy to start with.
